In the Kingsbridge Heights neighborhood of the Bronx, Barone Management is adding to our charter school portfolio with the brand new home of South Bronx Classical Charter School #5. At six stories and 43,000sf, this state of the art facility will be the fifth iteration of the wildly successful South Bronx Classical charter school network, which in 2025 was again one of the top school networks in New York State.  At all four of the South Bronx Classical Charter schools 95% or more of students passed the ELA exam and 96% or more score proficient in math.  SBC # 4 was awarded a National Blue-Ribbon Award from the NYS board of Regents. A complex transaction coupling a 99-year ground lease will ultimately lead to the best result for the school, Barone Management, and most importantly, the elementary and middle school students of this neighborhood.
