Barone Management is committed to carrying on the educational tradition started at this site with the Dominican Commercial School for Girls. The mixed-use campus in the heart of Jamaica will include two educational facilities. In addition to an adjacent elementary school, the New Dawn Charter High School will offer access to quality educational programs for students who are over-aged and under-credited in grades 9 through 12. The objective is to engage all students, regardless of where they are academically or personally, to give them the opportunity to graduate with a New York State Education Department High School Diploma.
