At 1000 Walton Ave in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, Barone Management is undertaking the restoration of a historic educational facility into a state of the art middle and high school campus for top rated AECI Charter School.

Originally built in 1929, and continuously operated for almost 100 years as All Hallows High School, Barone purchased the property from the Christian Brothers in 2025 and immediately commenced upon a monumental renovation to bring this early twentieth century gem into the modern age, with everything an educational facility needs in the modern age, while still respecting the irreplaceable architectural elegance and history of the physical plant. Ultimately serving over 875 6th through 12th graders, this is one of two brand new facilities that Barone is developing for the AECI Network, with this campus specializing  in computer engineering and innovation.  The AECI Network is one of the premier charter school networks in New York State, with a staggering high school graduation rate of 94%.  The combination of such strong academic performance coupled with a brand new almost one acre campus will ensure stellar educational outcomes for Bronx students, continuing this property’s proud legacy.
