Acquired in Q4 2021, at 11-11 40th, Barone Management has long term NNN leased to the School Construction Authority to develop the 15,000sf building into an educational facility to accommodate a 3-K program by the New York City Department of Education. Located on the borderline of LIC and Astoria, the two-story building will entail a full Pre-K program catering to a diverse student demographic in the area. The project serves as a further example of the DOE’s expansion into early childhood education in Queens County, and Barone Management’s overall commitment to the educational sector.
