Manpreet Singh – Development Associate

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Manpreet began his professional career at BASF, one of the largest chemical companies in the world, where he served as a Financial Analyst after graduating from Pace University in 2017. In this role, he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, reporting, and structured operations within a global organization. Alongside his corporate experience, Manpreet remained actively involved in his family’s real estate business, gaining exposure to a portfolio of single-family and multifamily assets, including distressed and value-add properties. His responsibilities included managing acquisitions, executing repositioning strategies, directing leasing efforts, and supporting overall asset management. Building on this foundation, he branched off and started his own minority-owned construction company, operating as both a general contractor and subcontractor. In this capacity, he led project management from planning through completion, coordinating trades and delivering work across the private sector as well as for public and governmental entities. Today, as a Development Associate at Barone Management LLC, Manpreet works across a portfolio that includes charter school facilities throughout New York State. He is involved across the full lifecycle of each project — from acquisition and due diligence to design coordination, construction oversight, stabilization, and ongoing operations. He collaborates with ownership, tenants, consultants, and vendors to execute capital projects, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiencies, with a focus on maximizing asset value and supporting long-term portfolio growth.
