Gayle Mandaro, General Counsel

Prior to joining Barone, Gayle was the Senior Director and Senior Counsel at the New York City School Construction Authority, Real Estate Services Division. At the SCA, she was responsible for handling all mixed-use development projects, acquisitions, leasing, landlord-tenant relations, intergovernmental coordination, construction management representation, as well as public engagement.  Prior to joining the SCA, Gayle ran her own general practice on Long Island, serving, among others, developers, contractors, restaurants, business owners and other individuals with all of their legal needs relating to corporate formations and operations, civil and commercial litigation, administrative hearings and residential and commercial real estate.  She graduated with a Bachelors of Science from St. John’s University, Tobin School of Business and, after a brief stint at  Goldman Sachs, obtained a Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Southern and Eastern District Courts.
