Chris Karalis, Executive VP of Construction

Mr. Karalis started at Barone in an entry-level construction role in 2006 and has since been promoted through the years to Executive VP of Construction, the top construction job at the firm, by 2014. His early accomplishments included the ground-up construction as various hotel projects across the city, including in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. In his capacity of Executive Vice President of Construction, Mr. Karalis manages all aspects of Barone’s construction management staff, bidding/negotiating, and subcontractor relations. He is recognized within the firm for his creative solutions to construction challenges and his knowledge of New York City building codes and zoning regulations. Today, Mr. Karalis’ construction team currently has approximately 300,000sf of new development under active construction.
